Your analysis is conducted based on how your skin reacts to the virtual drapes. Historical photos and eye patterns are used as helpful context clues but do not determine your season — they simply provide a fuller picture of your coloring.

Here’s How It Works

No matter the format, the actual color analysis process looks like this:

Step 1: I review your submitted photos and isolate your natural coloring.

Step 2: I determine your undertone by comparing a series of virtual color drapes and seeing how your skin reacts to the colors.

Step 3: I determine your intensity level by comparing a series of high-intensity and low-intensity drapes to determine your home season (summer, autumn, winter, or spring).

Step 4: I determine your value and, ultimately, which of the 23 seasons you fall into by comparing a series of color drapes within your home season.

By this point, your season is clear. If you’d like to stop here and just know your season, this saves me more than half the time it would take to put together a full video walkthrough showing exactly how I came to my conclusions — or, for in-person clients, to do the extended draping comparison so they can see the color differences for themselves in real time.

Step 5: I deliver your results.

All four steps of the analysis are the same regardless of whether it’s in-person, a detailed virtual, or a quick virtual analysis. The difference is in Step 5, which takes significantly more time when creating a personalized video explanation for the client.
